Klang Town is one of the earliest townships created in Malaysia, yet it has fallen far behind many other developed towns. Being a royal city that houses more than a million residents, the municipality has not managed it to the standards it is being upheld to. Drainages are clogged, general waste management is poor and the lack of enforcement on public misdemeanor (people throwing rubbish wherever) is rife. 

The municipality should enact stricter laws that the residents should adhere to. Despite having signages at designated area, the lack of surveillance and enforcement by the municipality encourages irresponsible actions by the residents. Immediate, stricter and unbending action needs to be taken to prevent Klang town from being tainted both in terms of cleanliness and reputation.

This petition is to not only create awareness, but to urge Majlis Perbandaran Klang to improve their municipality service and take appropriate action to ensure the cleanliness of the town.
