Help Save Fenced-in Off-Leash Zone @ Central Park Bandar Utama from being demolished! Lend your voice today - sign this petition & share
- This is an URGENT petition to help save the fenced-in off-leash zone at Central Park Bandar Utama which has been ordered by Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) to be immediately demolished, torn down and removed by 19th October 2021.
- This well-maintained facility is properly gated and fenced, and has been most welcomed and beneficial to many as it ensures that park users are safely protected, while also giving our canine friends and their responsible owners the joy of a dedicated clean & enclosed space of their own to use.
- Many enrichment activities, agility courses and training sessions are held at this off-leash area to allow pet and owner to bond and spend quality time together as many do not have a large yard at home to do so. Groomers, pet lovers, kennel clubs and animal association members also gather here to socialize and catch up with one another.
- Having well-behaved canines within this safe and controlled environment lets them get healthy by having plenty of exercise while happily playing freely – without interfering with park visitors outside the pen.
- Adopted and maintained by 1 Utama Shopping Centre over the last 30 years, Central Park BU has always been a place that is enjoyed by friendly neighbours, residents and families consisting of both canine-owners and non-canine owners alike. Let us continue fostering this great community spirit.
