"Give landlord property owners rights back in Maine, end legalized squatting"
The Issue
There is a growing problem in Maine of great concern. Property owners have been faced with so many numerous case's in which they try to evict a tenant for good solid reasons and find themselves denied through the court system that they no longer wish to rent year leases, dropping to monthly, then dropping to only weekly or none, simply wait, hoping to sell their property and be done with the renting process of a system that has basically legalized squatting. This has been helped along over time by a free lawyer system that enjoys the point of extending a eviction that it costs millions of dollars yearly to property owners and endless sleepless nights and headaches to the point of why rent? A judge and jury system of this organization has to be held accountable for the unethical damage they create.
