It’s been proven that heavy vehicles and roundabouts are not a safe mix when it comes to safety. A good example of this is the main roundabout in Albany on the entrance to the city. It’s been acknowledged by all levels of government to the extent that a bypass road is being built to keep the heavy vehicles away from the roundabout. 
And yet, in the interest of safety, the McGowan government, in conjunction with Main Roads WA have decided to build two new roundabouts on a major freight route, into the major industrial area of WA.

This is a major mistake that has the potential to cost lives.
