Minimise Hoardings in Bangalore - a strong and sensitive policy needed from BBMP!

The Issue

All great civilisations are remembered by the grandeur of the cities they build and leave behind. From a legendary garden city, Bangalore has sadly turned into a city of hoardings and banners. How can a city look beautiful if every street, every building is dotted with mammoth hoardings? Is there a policy on how many hoardings can be put up without making a visual mess of the city? Why is there no action taken on illegal political banners displaying a hundred faces of party workers? This is a serious violation of Urban design basics. We need a strong and sensitive hoarding policy from BBMP to make our Bangalore beautiful once again!
