This petition has been put in place by me, Austin Sierra of Gananda New York. Concerning the intersection of Gananda Parkway & West Walworth Rd. As many of you may know I was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident at that intersection in late September. Many people as well as myself have brought attention that still many vehicles run the 2 way stop sign on West Walworth Rd everyday. I feel if there was a 4 way stop many accidents could be avoided at this intersection. Yes this may not stop the running of the stop sign problem. This will most certainly put less people at risk because even if the stop sign is ran on West Walworth Rd the opposing traffic will most likely stop. I would never want anyone to be involved in an accident like mine so I would like to make a difference here in Gananda and make more vehicles and pedestrians safe in our wonderful community.
