I'm writing urgently to request for your action to help dogs in Macau. Macau, a little city near HK and China, being world known after the investment of casinos. Today, Macau legislation is proposing to pass through Animal Protection Law which we think one of the requirements is abusing dogs. According to the proposed Law, dogs weigh over 23kg are required to wear muzzle when they are in public areas. We did consult Vet which vet's opinions also agrees that this is non sense especially the temperature in summer in Macau may goes up from 32 to 38 degrees. Dogs need to have their tongues out to cool themselves. Wearing muzzles may bring them to risk of heat strokes. However, even though we bring up Vet's opinion to the legislative committee, it's seems they are not listening. As such, we sincerely request for your kind help to voice out and speak up for us internationally to help these poor dogs!
