What is this petition for? 

This petition is being used to try and get attention to earn to drive(ride share) apps/companies like Lyft and Uber for example to provide their drivers an easy way to call for help during emergencies when contacting law enforcement, Fire rescue and EMTs is just not an option or unavailable. 

Purposed Plan: 

To send all active drivers a "Push Button/Switch" that can notify local Emergency services of a possible problem and real time tracking of the driver to help getting help to them as soon as possible without delay. 

Why do they need this?

I have seen many news articles about drivers getting robbed, assaulted and even murdered as the most recent case with Christi Spicuzza after picking up their "ride".  During this time the driver has not been able to contact Emergency services due to the phone being unavailable at that time or being held hostage and threatened of death. I feel like the drivers should have the ability to alert the Emergency services before the worst case happens. 

So please sign this petition so we can help protect those whom offer their free time to drive for us within our communities and alert these companies they need to do more to help protect them also.
