Lyft, re-hire driver fired because of hateful Annliese Nielson.
The Issue

Annaliese Nielsen, who is founder of start-ups GodsGirls, Crushee, and the exclusive Los Angeles and New York girls groups “Girls Night In” and GRLCVLT, decided to berate her Lyft driver while driving her to her residence. Nielson, who admitted being highly intoxicated, began to berate her Lyft driver for a hula doll which he kept in his car. She threatens him, stating "I'm gonna do worse than give you one star" despite the driver very calmly trying to explain that he is not trying to offend anyone while attempting to drive her home. Nielsen subjects the Lyft driver to incessant verbal harassment, calling him a "selfish fucking dumbass idiot", and making negative remarks about his skin color and gender. After continued aggravation and insults toward the driver, he decides to end her ride and tells her she may call another Lyft, as is his right to do so according to Lyft:
"You have the right to decide if you feel comfortable picking up a passenger. Your personal safety comes first.
If you ever drive up to a passenger and you feel uncomfortable for safety reasons, please let us know about it as soon as possible. You may ask the passenger to cancel the ride, or cancel it yourself if they will not."

According to Nielsen's twitter account, the Lyft driver in the video has been terminated:

This is absolutely unnacceptable. No one deserves to be harassed and then fired for something as harmful a hula doll on thier dashboard. Termination of the driver means we have given in to hate, judgement, bullying, and worse yet, an innocent individual who was doing thier job is now unemployed as a result of this vile aggressive, despicable behavior. Please sign this petition to bring this issue to the attention of Lyft.
