For 39 years, nobody has known what species Yoda is. Despite introducing many characters of the same species, (Yaddle and Vandar, for example), everyone has just taken to calling them “Yoda’s species” or “the same species as Yoda.” Since the launch of Disney+ and the introduction of a baby “Yoda’s species,” the world is spending far too much time explaining things. A simple naming can resolve that.

Its time we officially name the species. What better way, than with a little wordplay? 

I propose we name the species “Yodal” and strongly urge Lucasfilm to officially declare it the canon name for the species.
