One of the biggest issues with long running TV shows is the possibility that they might eventually go stale. Three seasons into a series about bounty hunting, it would be completely understandable for the creators to get a bit complacent. 

That's when they need to throw the audience another curveball: Baby Yoda is now the size and build of a completely normal adult humanoid. 

How did this happen? How does a being that was a baby for 50 years suddenly hit a growth spurt like that? What implications for this species and the Galaxy as a whole? 

These burning questions, as well as the sense of character progression brought on by this development, will keep Disney+ subscribers hooked for the foreseeable future.
