Lower the Price of the Products in the School Canteen

Lower the Price of the Products in the School Canteen
The Issue
I, Mikko Amigo a student from Magsaysay National High School, would like to express my concern about the high prices of products in the school canteen. I believe that the current prices are prohibitively expensive and place an undue burden on students and families. Many students rely on the school canteen for daily meals and snacks, but the high prices make it difficult for them to access the food they need to stay healthy and focused in class. Additionally, the high prices may contribute to unhealthy eating habits, as students may opt for cheaper, less nutritious options outside of school. We are requesting that the school administration take action to lower the prices of products in the school canteen, particularly for essential items such as fruits, vegetables, and protein sources. We suggest that prices be lowered by at least 10% across the board. Lowering prices in the canteen would not only benefit students and families, but would also create a more equitable and inclusive learning environment. We hope that the school administration will take our concerns seriously and work towards a solution that benefits everyone.
