I am a resident of California who has personally experienced the struggles of transportation as a teenager. The lack of mobility and independence at such a crucial age can be limiting and frustrating. We believe that lowering the legal driving age from 16 to 15 could provide teenagers with greater opportunities for personal growth and responsibility. In rural areas where public transportation is scarce or non-existent, this change could be particularly beneficial.
