As a resident of Castle Rock, I am deeply concerned about the high water utility rates that are burdening our families. This issue is personal to me as it affects everyone in our community. Our town is known for its sense of community and unity, but these excessive rates are causing undue stress and financial strain on us all.

According to data from Circle of Blue's annual survey on water prices (2019), an average family in the United States pays around $104 per month for water. However, residents of Castle Rock are currently paying significantly more than this national average.

It's time we address this issue head-on. We need our local government to review and adjust these rates so they're fair and affordable for all residents. The current situation is unsustainable and threatens the wellbeing of our families.
