Lavington Central Shopping Centre in Lavington NSW, Australia, known as a bustling hub of local commerce, is unfortunately experiencing an increasing number of shop closures due to crippling rent prices. These shops, many of them small businesses, have become integral parts of our community and their absence is deeply felt. Inflated rents not only drive the closure of these businesses but also seem to deter new businesses, thus hindering economic growth and community development.

Many local businesses in this centre are struggling to cope with the current rates, which have been extremely high for years.  The community of Albury is losing variety, job opportunities, and social hubs.

By reducing the current rent prices, we can ensure the survival of existing businesses, attract new businesses and consequently generate job opportunities, economic stability, and variety for the community.

We ask the management of Lavington Central Shopping Centre to initiate a dialogue regarding this critical matter.
