We, the undersigned, urge Broward County and the City of Hollywood to reverse or reduce the recent increase in parking fees at the Yellow Green Farmers Market.

The new rates — $15 for the first hour and $3 for each additional hour — have made it impossible for many residents to attend. This change unfairly limits access to the  privileged few, to what has always been a welcoming community space for all.

The market is a community hub that supports local farmers, artisans, and small businesses. High parking fees are driving away visitors and hurting those who rely on this market for their livelihoods.

We ask city and county leaders to:

-Reinstate affordable parking rates, such as the former $10 for three hours.
-Consider free or discounted parking for Broward county residents.

Everyone deserves access to local, healthy food and community spaces — not just those who can afford high parking fees.
