We want to lower prices on gasoline due to the prices becoming ridiculously high. Gas prices in California are the highest in any state in the country. Prices are reaching past 6 dollars per gallon. We can reduce prices by pushing for the government to put laws that prevent gasoline companies from raising the prices up to ridiculous prices, to find a lower cost fuel blend that won’t be as expensive as the one currently being sold, lower the tax rates on gasoline or just outright suspend taxes on gas for a year, that could potentially lower gasoline prices to 1 dollar a gallon. We want this done as the prices of gas can affect other things, such as the transportation of goods via trucks that require gasoline. If gas is too expensive, the companies that use these trucks will need to find a way to cover for the costs of gas, which in turn leads to them having to raise the prices for goods being transported and sold.
