The uintah Recreation Center, a vital community facility, has always been a place of inclusivity, nurturing fitness, friendship, and growth. Recently, its exorbitant fee increase is a cause for concern. Many families, including mine, are unable to bear this heavy financial burden. My son, along with his siblings, adored coming here to work out. As a family of six, our limited budget is constantly stretched thin; the recent drastic price hike has made the recreation center a luxury we cannot afford.

This issue extends beyond just us. Countless families across our community find themselves in similar positions, unable to access a resource they once frequently relied upon. As citizens, we believe the purpose of community resources like the uintah Recreation Center is not to segregate based on income but to promote unity, enrichment, and healthiness. 

The goal of this petition is, therefore, to request the Uintah Recreation Center reduce its fees, ensuring affordable access to all citizens. Let us maintain the essence of this community space, a place open for all, not just a privileged few.
