For years, Chesapeake has charged $50 for concealed carry permits, when it could have been $15. State law removed the fingerprinting component that cost the state most of that additional $35 years ago.

Tell Chesapeake's City Council to lower the price for a permit so you can keep $35 of your hard earned money . Other Virginia localities have done it.  In fact Lynchburg is currently on the road to making the $15 permit fee a reality. 

Chesapeakes' motto is "the city that cares". Show it by allowing citizens to keep more of their hard earned money! Lead the way!
