Path to Newtown Cemetary

Path to Newtown Cemetary
The Issue
Newtown Cross Lawn cemetery was opened on July 30, 2007 - nearly 14 years ago.
So, why, more than a decade on, is there no footpath from the town of Drogheda to the cemetery?
Blessings of the graves has become a health hazard with cars parking down the narrow road and into fields. This would be helped if people could walk out like all if the other Drogheda Graveyards.
Not everyone who has a loved one buried there has transport to go tend to their grave or seek comfort.
Some people have actually walked out that road because they had to, its unsafe and it shouldn't have to happen.
Please help our cause and sign this petition to help nudge Louth County Council to speed up plans to build a path out to Newtown Cemetary as soon as possible
