We are a group of Louisville, Colorado citizens concerned with the continuing destruction of Old Town homes by speculative developers. A beautiful bungalow at 537 La Farge Ave. was recently purchased by an out-of-town home builder.  Built in 1939, the home at 537 La Farge is scheduled to be demolished after April 20. The single-family home will be replaced with a 5,700+ square foot duplex.

We believe in the importance of maintaining the character, charm, and culture of Louisville.  We urge City Council to make sensible changes that preserve Old Town homes while also protecting property rights. This matter is urgent. Please help us take action before we lose another Old Town treasure.
