This is a petition to create a public art installation commemorating the 3rd st. Louisville Can Opener. 

This beloved landmark has brought joy to the city since 1930 and deserves to be celebrated. A large art piece may also serve as a warning to those who dare challenge it's raw power (despite all of the signs suggesting otherwise leading to it). 

The drawing above is my initial concept proposal to submit to the Louisville City Government in hopes we might make this a reality.
