The Issue

We, the undersigned parents, carers, and members of the local community, are calling for the resignation of the Head Teacher of Maes Y Morfa School.
This petition has been created due to ongoing concerns regarding the leadership, management, and overall wellbeing of the school community under the current Head Teacher’s direction.
Many members of the school community feel that standards of communication, staff support, pupil wellbeing, and trust between leadership and families have significantly deteriorated. Concerns have been raised about  lack of transparency, poor communication, safeguarding concerns, staff turnover, school culture, handling of complaints, no support for ALN pupils.
Our intention is not to create hostility, but to seek positive change that will restore confidence, stability, and a healthy learning environment for all pupils.
We believe the school deserves leadership that listens to concerns, works collaboratively with families, and prioritises the best interests of the children at all times.
We respectfully ask the governing body and relevant education authorities to take these concerns seriously and to act in the best interests of the school community.
By signing this petition, we are calling for the Head Teacher to step down from their position and for a full review of leadership at the school.
