Louisburg KS has an outrageous ban on any "pitbull type dog." This ban requires the owner of the dog to pay a fine of $5,000 and walk the dog with a muzzle at all times among many other things. My goal is to if not lift the ban completely, then at least modify it to make the city more inclusive to "pitbull type" breeds. The fine lowered from $5,000 to no more than $500 if not eradicated and to do away with the muzzle all together. The ban also limits the pet parent to only having one pitbull dog. I would like to change this to no limit. But if that is not possible to at least make it two or three. Anyone who loves the breed knows that they are not visous and are amazing dogs that do not diserve the hatred that social media has encouraged. I hope to get as many signitures as possible in support. Please if you or anyone you know is a lover of the breed sign the petition and spread the word!
