The Loudoun County School Board is currently considering the 2014-2018 Capital Inprovement Plan, which sets out when they plan to build new schools. Briar Woods High School is projected to be 655 students over capacity in 2014. The planned HS-6 in Loudoun Valley Estates is fully funded and planned to open in 2015. We propose the opening be moved up one year to provide relief to Briar  Woods.
