Due to recent notification of the plan for the primary elections on March 1st, many of us parents, staff and students have become concerned about the security risk posed by keeping schools open on March 1, 2016. We believe that opening schools to the public raises many red flags and makes our schools vulnerable. Schools are locked during school days to prevent student risk, so we are in awe that these protocols will be lifted for the primary elections. The following signatures represent all of us that believe that Loudoun County Public Schools should be closed on March 1, 2016.
