The Issue

There are many infuriated problems going on in the world today. I, as well as all of us should do the most we can to fix these problems as people and living beings all sharing the only planet we have, through the infinite properties of time and space. However, we are in a crisis that could very well have long term effects that will take hundreds, if not thousands of years to replenish and cost billions of lives within the next 12 years if we do not do something about it now.

One of the main problems we've been having as a world since the invention of convenient transportation is climate change with the billions of carbon and emission that we put into our environment every day and night. To make matters worse, a lot of this pollution is concentrated in cities of mass population that don't have ideal terrain and weather to fight the nuclear effect we, as humans are causing. Things such as lack of rain as well as forests of trees to fight and clean our environment. Every year, the heat and the air quality gets worse, surpassing records each year from the one before as more and more people are using these emissions as well as the factories each day goes on.

Earth is doing her best to fight the cause, and if we don't help her out, she well come back with a vengeance.

Earth is 4.5 billion years old. If you were to compare how old Earth is to a 24 hour clock, at the pace we're at now, humans would destroy this earth with pollution alone in less than a half a second.

Less, than a half a second.

Los Angeles County is naturally a desert. As a said earlier, California as a whole is not ideal terrain to hold such populations for our every day lifestyles. So since we've changed the state of the world already with our excessive metal placements with over overabundance in cars. Since we've changed the world so much, running freeways through mountain valleys, with our pollution, dumping, killing animals to extinction, trees, and such forth... Let's change the state of our natural world for the better. Trees are our biggest fighters and absorbents of green house gases. The natural terrain of Los Angeles County and California as a whole will not hold up against the trajectory we're in right now as it's ozone layer is already almost completely gone -- as you currently read this. So it's time we changed the terrain of Los Angeles county and replenish all the life that has been taken from it. WE NEED BALANCE AND IT IS SIMPLY NOT. I remember being in high school and barely being able to see the mountains just a few miles away, and now, that smog has gotten even worse.

We've small towns in countries such as the Philippines plant 1 MILLION TREES IN ONE DAY! This feat, is more than possible in the county of Los Angeles. The plan is to have 2 million trees planted within a week, and have 10 million planted within the next 1-2 years. This is the start of that, and eventually reach those with much influence to spread this message, and for once, expedite clean change, instead of destructive change.

We owe it to earth, and Los Angeles for all the amazing things that this place has done for us and the world. We owe it to our future and even current generations that they grow up in a greener, cleaner, Los Angeles county. By planting these trees, not only will we create cleaner air, thus creating a cleaner world. But we will also make Los Angeles county the best it's ever looked! Los Angeles has become the capital of storytelling through Hollywood and music, well let's give them a helluva true story to tell! Thank you.
