Ice cold beer on a hot Texas summer day is something every (21+) Texan knows well. It’s tradition. 

Also tradition is passing a cap to your buddy on the left after you’ve figured out that brain teaser behind the cap of a freshly cracked Lone Star. 

That tradition was recently broken, presumably for financial reasons, by the folks at Lone Star. And it pains me to feel the urge to write this petition. Because whatever cost implications there are of switching to a mundane, gray cap, the implications are far more pervasive when we let tradition go broken. 

If you’re one of the millions of Texans who believes in tradition, or who believes in tossing that riddle cap to your buddy on the right when you’re stumped, or believes that nothing is better than an ice cold Lonie with some fajitas on the grill, then it’s time to RISE UP AND SIGN THIS PETITION. 

Lone Star Beer — we, as Texans, DEMAND, that you bring back the coveted riddle caps we all know and love. The time to act is now, while we’re still experiencing 100° heat.
