Save Ex-LNER HST Power Car 43300

Save Ex-LNER HST Power Car 43300
The Issue
Between 1978 & 2019, HSTs (short for High Speed Trains) worked on the East Coast Mainline between London & Edinburgh. One of these was numbered 43300, and was named 'Craigentinny' after a famous depot up in Scotland, and bore special branding commemorating it's 100th anniversary.
However, shortly before the HSTs were due to be withdrawn from service, 43300 was damaged in a crash with one of the new Azuma trains, which were intended to replace them. Shortly afterwards, it was dragged out to Neville Hill Depot and left there, where it will likely remain until it is scrapped.
Not on my watch! Our mission is to restore this great British Rail icon and bring it to Locomotion, a railway museum in Shildon. If we can also gain the support of the 125 Group, then this campaign is sure to have some impact.
