Please save the funding needed to ensure our children and their parents have the support they need.

In the latest budget cuts, the borough have chosen to cut severely the budget allocated to child services; these are the services that help us nurture the children that will be the decision makers of our future and deserve the investment.

All services that are not mandatory are being cut back; Sutton Youth Club Youth Zone - Phoenix Centre Parenting support from 0 -18 Youth Parliament to name but a few this is just a few of the cuts. The QUAD is a one stop shop for seeking help as a parent, the teams there have help my family through everything life has thrown us.

They have provided mentoring for our teenager when his godfather died, parenting advise for every challenge our teen has thrown at us. Pointed us in the right direction for our disabled son and even provided Support for our 1/2 pint.

Perhaps as importantly a safe place, where you know they will be there to help and not judge. The thought of others not being able to get that help scares, and saddens me. This borough is seen as one of the best boroughs in the country for looking after the next generation, as a resident since birth (1970) I would hate that to change.
