I am a local resident in Hillingdon and live on the high street in Uxbridge. In recent weeks they have changed vehicles driving through the high street. I live on the high street therefore I cannot get my deliveries or take my own shopping home as the nearest parking bay is several minutes walk. I used drive through the high street after hours so did a lot of local delivery drivers and taxi drivers to either pick up or drop of passengers/deliveries to people that reside above the high street in Uxbridge. 

The changes was done without informing local people of the changes or changing the signage on the high street to show which vehicle are allowed to enter. I have been speaking with local people just like myself who have received several parking contravention from Hillingdon. We all require and depend on having access to drive through the high street in the town centre. This is clearly just an opportunity for the local council to profit from genuine and hardworking people who require the access.

This needs to be reversed and all parking contravention issues should be cancelled.
