We wish to petition the London Borough of Enfield for a Neighbourhood Development Plan to cover the Chase Side EN2 and surrounding area. There are a number of planning issues currently affecting the community and a co-ordinated approach is needed. A Neighbourhood Development Plan is a means by which Neighbourhood Forums, (consisting of residents' groups, community and voluntary organisations), can use new neighbourhood planning powers to help establish general planning policies for the development and use of land in a neighbourhood.
We would like to include within this plan the vacant plot of land at 105-107 Chase Side and the empty/disused housing stock in Parsonage Lane.
Chase Side is an important area, both historically and commercially. It is vital that any future development projects take into account the unique nature of this area and the possibilities it can offer for the benefit of the whole borough
