The proposed building of 19 and 24 storey flats in the Walnuts Orpington would turn Orpington into a concrete jungle, similar to the notorious Kidbrook, which had to be demolished. It would increase the population of Orpington to another 2000 plus. There are no extra provision for schools, doctors, hospitals, fire stations or police. This venture would decrease the property value. Crime would be on the increase, leaving Orpington a no go area.
