With the news that Logitech is discontinuing Harmony, the massive database of IR codes they have accumulated over the years could be lost. They’ve pretty much built a monopoly of that code base. Since Logitech is no longer going to produce Harmony products, they should release their database to the public so that the years of valuable data isn’t lost! If they release their database, then there’s the prospect of open sourced software that can continue well after Harmony’s demise.
