Ban Unevenly Lifted Trucks

Ban Unevenly Lifted Trucks
The Issue
"Leaning", "squatting", and "tilted" trucks are sweeping the nation. It's a new found fad that is highly dangerous and unsafe for not only the people who are driving with these trucks on the road, but for the drivers as well. The trucks have an unequal amount of suspension lift, causing them to be higher in the front than in the rear. This causes all sorts of problems like poor visibility and headlight beams being directed into rear view mirrors of drivers in front of the trucks. This can cause visual stress and damage to other drivers, which could easily cause accidents. As the front of the truck is lifted more than the rear, the front windshield is rendered almost useless because the front visibility is lessened. Many unequally lifted truck drivers are seen peering over the steering wheels just to see how close they are to drivers in front of them. This shouldn't have to happen. Problems worsen when drivers of unequally lifted trucks do not adjust their headlights to compensate for the extra lift, sending the headlight beams directly into oncoming drivers eyes. Most of the owners also put high-intensity bulbs into the factory reflective halogen housings which makes the beams so bright that it is almost impossible to see what is going on while driving. The truck fad became a thing not long ago in the Southeastern region of the United States. It was coined all sorts of names and referred to as "cool" by the younger generations. There's nothing cool about making the roads an unsafe means of transportation. In conclusion, the squat fad needs to be abolished. It's unsafe for both parties and with banning such act, will make the roads safer for transportation.
