Electricity is becoming more and more expensive. Considering the fact that South Africa generates its own power,  it has come to our attention that we are paying more and more as the months go by. Many South Africans buy Electricity from municipalities. This reduces the value for money and creates unfairness throughout the country. CITIZENS ARE NOT RECEIVING THE SAME AMOUNT OF UNITS FOR A SIMILAR FEE. Change.org needs to help us to cut out the middle man and allow citizens to buy electricity from the commission itself.  The government also needs to establish a standard tarrif rate throughout the country so that citizens DO NOT PAY MORE THAN R2 PER UNIT! This will create affordability, reducing electricity theft and illegal connections. Low income bearing households must also receive monthly vouchers throughout the country and not only in certain municipalities.
