In the space of the last 3 days there has been 2 accidents on the junction of scarnell Road and cunningham road nr5 Norwich. There have been so many near misses here too in the past, this junction is very close to the school and children are always around the area.

Maybe it's time for speed bumps along this road especially near the infant school. The speed that vehicles fly down cunningham road is terrible and most of the time people are just lucky. With the cooler and wetter weather the junction is very slippery at times and people fail to think about this when driving. Also visibility is sometimes compromised by parked cars around school drop of and collection times. 

As a mum of young children living in the area I feel that its maybe time for something to be done and speed bumps installed to help reduce the speed cars travel around the area. I hope that you will all sign this petition and if enough people support the cause we maybe able to get something done to make the junction safer.

Update April 2022

After more recent accidents occurring again in the same spot and 1 needing the air ambulance to attened it is clear this crossroads is still a cause for concern. This has been brought to the attention of the local news papers (evening news 8/9th april) and now council is aware. I will be writing to them soon and putting this petition to them. Thank you
