For 16 years the Sports Direct (formerly LA fitness) pool and fitness centre in Newark has benefited the physical and mental fitness of local residents in Newark. Its sudden closure has impacted on the jobs of its staff and the health and lifestyle of local residents. 

This petition will encourage other gym franchises to reinvest in our community and help the gym and pool to prosper and grow rather than disintegrate and be demolished.
