About four (4) weeks ago the lawyers for the plaintiff attempted to force me into a 'mediation' conference. Yet another one. This was nothing more than an attempt to try to again force me to acquiesce to their demands that I accept that they are right and I am wrong. This is obviously an over simplication of what is going on.
When I refused to go into their 'mediation' conference via telephone I received a telephone call from the main lawyer now acting for the BCM the day before their scheduled conference. (Please remember here that this lawyer is one of the directors of the SECOND law firm hired to take on this claim. If you are unfamiliar with this please see the original petition). When this lawyer called me, she wanted to 'discuss figures' with me. I refused to discuss anything with her and again reiterated that she needed to take her 'claim' to court.
I also adamantly told this woman that she was attempting to hijack my refusal to go into some sort of conference with her. To say that I told her what I really thought of her and the whole 'claim' against me is an understatement. She attempted to patronise me by telling me 'I had been through a lot.' I told her to spare me. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. These people are liars, thieves and thugs. The only reason I don't publicly name them here (for now) is because I will not leave myself open to being sued for libel or slander. Of course I have it on record in writing that I have been abused and harassed for not toeing the line with these people. Lawyers seem to think that they can just harass and intimidate people and that they somehow think there will be no ramifications. More than six years of this garbage (actually seven now).
I reminded her that it was she who had contacted me..not the other way around. I have dozens of emails and letters containing all kinds of threats and accusations against me.
I am now looking at my options. The first being to contact the QLD Law Society. I should have done that a long time ago. The second will be to move to have this claim dismissed. The saying that the 'law is an ass' is so true. In regard to body corporate 'law'...there is no law. That is no exaggeration.
