We're the students believe that change begins with the students and that is what we want to emphasize during our term. We believe that transparency is the best method in leadership. We are future between the student body and administration and the emphasis is to keep both sides aware of the wants and needs of the College. We believe in LeMoyne-Owen College mission's statement and strive to uphold it. We need a Leader that is ready to take on any challenge presented head.  A Leader who is indescribable and unique in their approach and attitude to solving problems. A Leader who is fair, trustworthy, and will move this College forward. There has been a renewal to the mentality of what it means to be a part of LeMoyne-Owen College. We are in disbelief that we are blessed to not only be a part of it but lead it. Here are 3 examples of the current problems at our school.

1.) Students and the SGA Student Body was not involved of the final decisions to move the dorm move in date which cause problems.

2.) The university has released staff and administration who students cared about without student input.

3.) Their has not been adequate involvement of students in the search of the new president currently.

The students are asking for a meeting with the candidates on a Zoom call to further understand to see why they would want to be our next President, and what changes that would impact us. The students and administration are asking that we vote on the next President of LeMoyne-Owen College.
