Hello everyone! Here's a quick update on our "little petition that could".  We're heading for 115,000 signatures soon, on the way to 150,000.  At that point, I'll take our petition to Sonya Fiorini, the Sr. Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Loblaw Companies Inc. - the largest food retailer in Canada.  She is listening, and says the company will be soon be announcing "next steps" re: reducing plastic packaging of food.  What will they be?  Stay tuned.  In the meantime, here's an article about Whole Foods and its latest move to cut back on packaging.  The tide is turning.  And it's all thanks to you!  Please forward the petition link below to anyone you know who might like to support our cause.  Thank-you!!!
