Time for an update on our "little petition that could".
Thanks to your support over the past four months, we're almost at the magic 100,000 signature mark now! (About 93,000 as of today.)
When we hit 100,000, I'll be taking the signatures to the Senior Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Loblaw Companies, Inc., Sonya Fiorini.
Your voices count and they will be heard. WE WILL NOT BUY FOOD PACKAGED IN PLASTIC ANYMORE.
In the meantime, check out the article below. It takes a comprehensive look at the plastic packaging situation in Canada, and asks for comment from our big food retailers. Loblaw is on that list.
