For years now dedicated fans have been screwed over by ticket scalpers and let down time after time by Ticketmaster and/or Live Nation. Allowing these people to purchase tickets for the sole reason of flipping them for cash and charging real fans hundreds and sometimes thousands for resale tickets that are under $100 at face value is plain and simple theft. The true mental toll it takes on people is saddening, the stress it puts people under trying to get an affordable ticket to see their favorite artists is disrespectful to customers. We the fans demand that policies be changed to prevent this from happening in the future. The current “Ticketmaster Verified Fan” program does absolutely nothing to prevent this from happening. They say it guarantees tickets to real fans but it only puts tickets in the hands of scalpers who are using burner emails and phones. These people are thieves and Ticketmaster/Live Nation are enabling this. We the fans ask that you make real changes. Policies can be changed and made to ensure tickets are sold to fans at their face value price and not criminally inflated resale prices. Fans have experienced emotional damages for years due to this. Stop this cycle and let these people, mostly kids and teenagers, get to see their favorite artists without having to break the bank or having to open lines of credit just to go to one show.
