Linfield University has decided to open up the campus while the Covid-19 cases continue to rise. Many universities have given their students the option to take the classes online rather than go back to campus. Linfield on the other hand has not given us this option considering that many of the classes are hybrid. If given the choice to go back to campus or take the classes online, not only will this benefit students financially but it will avoid the inevitable rise of cases on campus regardless of the extra precautions.

Being on campus, students are to pay thousands and thousands of dollars for rooming and boarding on top of that some are forced to be on a meal plan. After consulting with financial aid, students are guaranteed to not be refunded for any rooming and boarding after thanksgiving break.  

Professors have reached out to their students with their concern of face-to-face classes and have decided to make their class fully online. Not only will this benefit the student body, but the faculty as well.

Allow students to have the choice to go online, not only to save them thousands of dollars, but decrease potential cases.
