Brad Raffensperger, the Republican Secretary of State of Georgia tasked with election integrity in the state of Georgia, in an interview with The Washington Post, reported that the South Carolina Republican Lindsey Graham asked if he could scrap all mail-in ballots from counties with higher rates of non-matching signatures.

The Post reported that Raffensperger was stunned as he felt Graham was suggesting he find ways to discard ballots which were cast legally.  A second member of Raffensperger's office corroborated his account of the conversation.

If true, this itself amounts to attempted election fraud.

Lindsey Graham should resign as head of the Senate Judiciary Committee while this is investigated and should resign his office if found to be accurate.

It is incumbent on all Americans to keep democracy working.
