Closing the Lindenwood University-Belleville campus will prevent students, faculty and staff, and alumni from meeting their fullest potential and ultimately will kill the culture and legacy so many people put their life's work into. Not to mention that Belleville, IL will lose a vital part of its community, LU-B did so much for the city.

Hearing about the decision to end day classes at Lindenwood University-Belleville is disappointing, frustrating and heartbreaking.

Lindenwood University-Belleville deserved more than a passive mass email two days after 2019 graduates celebrated their success. The faculty and staff deserved more than an ABRUPT meeting announcing that the legacy they were building would come to an end. The students deserved more than an email like their education was a second thought.
