Linda McCartney foods have changed their recipe for their famous original vegetarian sausages. These were appreciated by both meat eaters and vegans alike. They were full of flavour and by far the best vegan sausage on the market. The new sausages came about as a result of attempts to reduce salt and sugar and are now soya based. The advantages of this are far outweighed by the loss in quality of this product. They are now bland and lack in flavour and have all the same allergens as the previous version, plus now contain soya, another allergen. The colour is also much less attractive. If you look at the reviews of the new sausages, nearly all of them are negative. This petition asks that Linda McCartney Foods bring back their original recipe in some form readily available in supermarkets.
