Dear Member of the Lincoln Community,

I am a parent with two kids in Lincoln and I strongly believe that it is in the best interest of everyone to come together and support Dr. Fay's leadership for the stability and success of our school.  

Dr. Fay arrived at Lincoln in February 2021, in the middle of the Covid pandemic. Despite unprecedented obstacles and difficulties, he guided Lincoln and our students with resilience and adaptability, ensuring that their education and well-being remained a top priority. 

Under Dr. Fay's leadership, we have seen many positive changes and a strong foundation for continued success. Despite the incredible challenges of the last 3 years (only 2 years of normal school life), data shows that the school is continuing to move in a positive direction since Dr. Fay’s arrival. 

Dr. Fay has always prioritized the needs of the students, even when making tough decisions. Not everyone will agree with everything a leader does, but Dr. Fay's action have always been made with the best interests of our students and school in mind. Not everything is perfect and there is still much work ahead. Nothing happens overnight. Research has shown that a principal should be in place 5-7 years to have a beneficial impact on a school. As Dr Fay gains experience as a leader, he remains open to ideas and feedback.   

Let’s all work together to ensure Lincoln moves forward and continues its tradition of excellence by supporting Dr Fay! 

It's in the best interest of our school community to come together and support Dr. Fay's leadership and allow him to continue on this path of improvement and growth. 

The decision to renew or not renew Dr Fay's contract will be made soon by the Local School Council (LSC).

A non-renewal decision of Dr Fay's contract by the LSC after only two years of normal schooling since the pandemic would be an unnecessary disruption for the entire school community. Research has shown that lack of continuity and high principal turnover destabilizes a school and is associated with lower student performance.

Please sign this petition to formally endorse the renewal of Dr. Fay’s contract as school principal and let the LSC know how you feel about this.
