I don’t understand how the administrator of Lincoln High School could just divide the band into two different classes. The amount of practice and effort these students put into the songs and field shows they do is astonishing. Many of these cougars have helped each other through hard times, and many, if not all, partake in band with a passion. Splitting these talented people apart will make it harder for them to provide field shows for the football games, and for their concert season. The LHS Band works better together as a group hence our motto “Stand tall, stand proud, stand as one.” Not only will the decision of splitting the band in half cut the time of us being able to practice as a group, but will also split up the friendships and families the members of band have made. Save the band, save the friendships, and save the family. We have and always will be the pride of Lincoln High.#savetheband
