Phoenix Matthias started this petition to Lin-Manuel Miranda and

(For context, please see attached video; those lines spoken in that film are from Larson's script of "Superbia")

Especially in this day and age of Hyper-social media. Times since the 90's have accelerated. Now, even more so, a production of "Superbia" is apropos.

This is the production, unproduced yet written and toiled over, by the late Jonathan Larson. For context: the film "Tick, Tick, Boom" references the actual screenplay of which drafts were written by Jonathan Larson.

Which is why this petition is primarily for calling upon the Director and Screenwriter, if they so choose, to please bring to the light, Jonathan Larson's production of "Superbia" Especially now, with the momentum of the other film still going strong. Both Director and Screenwriter, of the film, "Tick, Tick, Boom" showed outstanding, and incredible, care, compassion, understanding, and respect for Jonathan Larson as a human being, as well as his legacy. Just the kindness shown, the due diligence. Truly amazing.

According to that film, based on true events, no producer at the time was willing to help bring it to the light. Today, that may perhaps still be the case. Yet, at least one more attempt, at least in the opinion of the petition, ought to be made. To at long last, two decades later, bring the eight year effort of "Superbia" at long last, to fruition. Sharing that creative vision of his with the world. Without that, we may not have had "Rent".

Circling back to the reason why. From the themes that seemed to be presented; nowadays, especially with the move towards yet more and more of where social media is and is headed, now is an excellent time to bring to light his vision, to bring about and produce "Superbia" !
